TPU Material with Self-Healing and Anti-Scratch Properties - High-Definition Transparent Paint Protective Film

I. Core Material and Characteristics

Material Composition: The main component is TPU. Some high-end products will add nano-coatings (such as anti-yellowing coatings, hydrophobic coatings) to improve durability and functionality.

Basic Characteristics:

Strong Flexibility: It has good ductility and resilience, can adapt to the curved surface of the car body, is not easy to crack during construction, and minor scratches can be self-healed by heating (such as sunlight exposure, heat gun). 

Excellent Weather Resistance: It can resist external erosion such as ultraviolet rays, high temperature, low temperature, acid rain, bird droppings, and tree sap, reducing paint oxidation, fading, or corrosion.  

High Transparency: High-quality TPU vehicle films have high transparency. After application, they do not affect the color of the original car paint and can also enhance the gloss of the paint (such as the high-gloss version).

II. Core Advantages

Comprehensive Protection to Reduce Paint Damage

Physical Protection: Resist minor physical damages such as gravel impact, key scratches, and car wash scratches, avoiding fine lines or paint chipping on the paint surface.

Chemical Protection: Isolate corrosive substances such as acid rain, oil stains, and bird droppings from directly contacting the paint surface, preventing the paint from being eroded and yellowed.

Self-Healing Function

For minor damages such as sun lines and hairline scratches, the TPU molecules can be rearranged through an increase in ambient temperature (such as sunlight) or artificial heating to achieve automatic scratch repair (scratches with a deeper depth cannot be repaired).

Enhance Appearance Texture

High-gloss version: Increases the gloss of the paint, making the car body look more full and shiny, similar to the effect of "ceramic coating".

Matte version: Presents a low-key  texture, suitable for models pursuing a personalized style.

Strong Durability

High-quality TPU vehicle films usually have a service life of 5-10 years (depending on the material and environment), which is much longer than traditional PVC materials (1-2 years).

Removability

If aging occurs after long-term use, it can be removed through professional construction, and it is not easy to leave adhesive residues, avoiding damage to the original car paint.
