Wiper Switch and Turn signal Switch for MG HS, MG ZS,MG6,MGRX5,MGRX8,MGmarvelR
Operation method: Flicking the control lever upward activates the right turn signal; flicking it downward activates the left turn signal. The turn signals will automatically turn off once the vehicle has completed the turn. Additionally, when changing lanes, lightly pressing and releasing the turn signal lever will make the turn signals flash three times to alert other vehicles.
Working principle: When the driver operates the turn signal switch, voltage from the Body Control Module (BCM) is input to the turn signal lever switch. After the voltage is reduced by the internal resistor of the switch, the reduced voltage signal is sent back to the BCM module. Upon receiving the signal, the BCM module outputs voltage to the corresponding turn signal bulb, creating a circuit and lighting up the bulb.
Appearance and structure: The turn signal switch includes components such as the switch body, lever, and contacts. The switch body is usually an integrated structure containing multiple switch contacts and connectors; the lever is connected to the switch body and can be flicked to control the operating state of the turn signals; when the lever is operated, the contacts make contact with the vehicle's electrical system to control the turn signals.
Coordination with other vehicle systems: When the turn signals are operating, the corresponding green turn indicator lights on the combination instrument panel flash synchronously to remind the driver of the turn signal status. Furthermore, the turn signal switch in some MG models may cooperate with the automatic headlight system and other systems to achieve more intelligent light control based on factors such as vehicle driving status and ambient light conditions.
